“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV
Let us all be reminded that believers should come together at various times. Whether it's a worship service or simply a fellowship gathering... scripture reminds us not to foresaken coming together to exhort one another. That's why as a church leader I am responsible for making sure there are various opportunities for that to happen. This is the doctrine of God... and God knows as much as we go out into the world to be that church in the community... just like a car needs gas... so does a believer who may be running on empty from being out in the world as Matthew 28:19 prescribes. Some people call the gatherings events... some call them fellowships... but each opportunity should help encourage a believer who can come around likeminded people and be sharpened after contending with a dark world known as the valley of the shadow of death.
