Releasing You From The Grips of Hate

I was having lunch today with a friend and I shared with this friend something about Hate. This comes based on the context that you have done absolutely nothing to the person except that you exist. This speaks to that only.

When a person hates you for just existing God wants me to let you know that the hate that is directed at you is a result of the person really hating himself. Why? Because there is something you have that the hating person wants but does not have. What you have is naturally given... and he is consumed with what you have (jealousy, envy), missing what God has given him.

The hate comes from a place of that person realizing he doesn't have what you have and as much as he hates you... he is doing things that copies your existence. The person who hates needs you to dislike him so he can feel affirmed by your focus on him. He needs those he hates to hate him so he can feel good about himself. The moment you don't pay his hate any attention and continue on with what God has given you... that is an eminent threat to the hater. Why? Because when you no longer go to the one who hates you for affirmation... you are saying to that person You love who God created you to be. And that is what sets you free from the grips of hate. The burden of hate has been lifted so you can focus on what God has given you to thrive and survive.

Ask yourself this. If someone has a button they can push on themselves to be a high flyer and I don't want the person to fly high... what should I do? The answer is... distract them from pushing that button as they look to me to for all things they think are high. As long as they are looking to me as their source, they will never realize they have a button they can push that removes me from the equation. Then they will really fly high....mounting up their wings as eagles and they will run and not be weary... and they will walk and not faint. Why? Because the button they have pushed is the doorbell to God who activates the switch that gives you access to what He placed in you. As long as you are distracted, you will never activate what is already in you. That is what you have that others want. It's a God given ability to make lemonade without sugar... to turn water into wine with no ingredients... to turn food in its raw form that stinks into something people want to eat. That switch is the creative genius that God has placed in you to soar. But as long as you look to the one who hates you for affirmation, you literally are affirming the person's need for you to see him as your God.
