Your Fighting The Wrong Thing!
Ponder this... a carnal led human (Romans 8:7) can not kill that which is spirit. But a spirit can kill a carnal led human. When you understand this... you now are in a place of true understanding! Remember, there is a spirit behind everything you see... but the battle is not with who you see with the human eye (Ephesians 6:12). What you see is a manifestation/symptom. The root must be destroyed in the spirit. You kill a spirit by having power over the spirit that is not of God. How? There are actions to take, but not the way you think it should happen. The first glimpse is found in
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
