Be Careful Who You Put Your Mouth On!

Pharaoh had a God complex. He thought we was a chosen god to rule the earth. But he soon found out that when he cursed the true children of God... the curse would impact his own people. His heart wanted to inflict harm on people he viewed as lesser. Pride will do that to humans. You lift yourself up as you look at others not like you differently...and it is written that God will humble the proud and lift up the humble (Matthew 23:12).

Pharaoh did not get the memo from God... that God will bless those who bless his children... and He will curse those who curse his children (Genesis 12:3). His children are those who trust, obey and believe God and that is credited to their righteousness as was the case with Abraham... the father of many nations and an example of a human walking upright before God. If you are a child of God, believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of your sins, inviting Him in your heart to lead you as you hunger and thirst for righteousness (John 3)... You are on the right path and no weapons formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Just like in the days of Moses and Pharaoh... Pharaoh formed the weapon through his mouth... but the weapon, known as a King's decree, did not prosper against the children of God. The words that were released from the lips of Pharaoh did severely impact what he truly worshiped in his heart above all things (Exodus 12:29).

Remember, those who curse you (child of God) don't understand the fury that will come to them because of their intent towards you. The world calls it karma... but God says it's really my word to never allow you to be put to shame as it is written in Romans 10:11.
