Being Attacked Doesn't Feel Good
There is a battle going on between the save and unsaved. Those who are awakening to this truth are seeing that those they thought were saved are really wolves in sheeps clothing. The wolves didn't attack you directly while you were blind... but now that you see you are being persecuted… you realized you were headed for the slaughter indirectly. You weren’t a threat to the lies… you were operating with them.
Jesus tells us in scripture that we will be persecuted as He was persecuted. We will be rejected because they first rejected Him. The attack on your Christian beliefs didn't just start over the last decade... but the attacks have been going on for over 2000 years. The attacks have been covert in some instances as the blind sheep were being told the attacks were based on other things and you believed. But as Scripture points out to us there is an end to the enemy's reign... and you are now seeing things unfold before your eyes quicker than ever. For the one who is disheartened by the attacks that come from his own backyard, the attacks were always there... but perhaps you were blind to it. Now you are the target and it doesn't feel good. Rejoice in it! I have come to learn that when people are not the obvious target of anti-christ tactics... they won't be as alarmed because it didn't impact them directly. But those same anti-christ tactics are now being waged against you... and it has your attention and it doesn't feel so good... it is unnerving and we look for people to blame for this unnerving feeling. We are told who to blame for this and as a result we play into the fear-mongering reacting just the way fear-mongerers expected. But Ephesians 6:12 tells us who the real enemy is and he has always been hiding behind the scenes getting vulnerable vessels to do his bidding, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
One has to understand that the wages of sin is death... but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). If your eyes have been opened as a result of accepting that eternal gift in your heart… then you are likely on the path which follows the ways of Jesus Christ. And in the process of following the ways of the Son of God… it feels like the walls of this existence are closing in. Those who you once held in high regard… you now see them differently. You feel ashamed that you fell for their lies. My friend… the walls of the physical realm are in fact closing in… the crushing weight of a sin led world is attempting to smother those who are blind to what is happening… but you, the believer who now sees… have been set free from the crushing weight of those walls which will kill those who are waging war against Jesus by attempting to persecute His followers.
Yes, what you see must come to pass. For it is written. The truth has set you free. Invest the rest of your life in the things of the Kingdom of Heaven. This existence will fade away and will be made new as you were made new when your eyes were opened as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You have died to self and are resurrected in the Spirit. You have life now and live everlasting. You are alive in a dead world. You are an alien in a foreign land. Your home is not here, but in the presence of God. However, you are here for a purpose as you do the will of the Father. You are a vessel from which Heaven comes through upon the Earth. Where you walk you shall find favor… your enemies will be made your footstools. You work the assignment as commanded in Matthew 28-19-20 and God will handle the rest. The more you work your true purpose, the more intense the world’s anger towards God will be directed towards you because you are a child of God… an heir to the Kingdom… a joint heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). You are a target because your life is beginning to look like Jesus. You are following the ways of Jesus and you are now being ridiculed for it. His spirit will bear Good fruit in you because He is that vine from which the fruit comes (John 15). You can not bear this kind of fruit on your own because it is a spiritual fruit manifested in the physical as a result of the power of Grace (Galatians 5:22-26). It is the power of Grace that gives one the ability to produce fruit. His power enables us to do some things we were never capable of doing on our own… and the power received (Pentecost coming through you on the earth)… is a spiritual gift that we did not earn or deserve... but because of our Faith in Jesus it has been accounted to us as righteous. Jesus is righteous, the truth, the way and the life. The world is attempting to block the truth from manifesting. So what you see is a frenzy of spiritually wicked acts waged against those who are walking in the truth. Time is running out for the enemy… and those who do his bidding (knowingly or unknowingly) will feel like time is running out. They will act in panic… waging attacks against anyone and everyone. Those who have been resurrected from the spiritually dead are no longer moved by time, nor will you feel time is running out because you have been set free from the crushing weight of the law. God’s power and mercy removed you from that crushing weight which will condemn those who are still operating under it… not willing to see Jesus Christ for who He really is as they continue to act in disobedience (Galatians 5:19-21). Yes, it feels like this world is dieing. It really is. This has to happen for prophecy to be fulfilled. And Jesus says all things will be made new. Those of us who have life now understand that the old things (this world) will pass away, but we continue on in what will be new. We are being perfected by His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:12) as we work in His will as commanded in Matthew 28-19-20. While you work the works of the father as you love Him with all of your heart and love fellow man (even those who persecute you)… you are being prepared to inherit what Jesus says will come at the appointed time. We were set free from the crushing weight of those walls that you feel are closing in.
Revelation 21:4-7
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
If you are truly His son/daughter right now then you must understand the things you see must happen. Don’t allow what you see to force you back into doing things that had you dead under the law. Instead, come to understand what the Holy Spirit spoke through the Apostle Paul in Romans 6:12-14.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Pentecost is here for those who have received the power of Grace. The Kingdom of Heaven is upon the earth through the one who truly believes and allows the Spirit of the Living God to flow through you. You will be a target because you are a threat now. Your eyes have been opened… but no weapons formed against you shall prosper. For it is written that God will not allow His children to be put to shame (Romans 10:11). There is no shame in being rejected by the masses… for they rejected the cornerstone of our faith (Jesus). The rejection is an indication to what you know as truth. And now you likely see that before your eyes were opened you were truly blind. You thought you were free to worship as you pleased… but the truth of the matter is until you rose above the lies that had you trapped… your worship was in vein. Now that you see… true worship comes when the Heart is changed to do what God says in
Matthew 22:36-40 (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
If you can’t do these two, then you are still walking blind as you invest all of your energy in attempting to stop prophecy from being fulfilled as the Pharisees did in the time Jesus walked this earth. You will attempt to hold on to something that is dieing. You will attempt to revive something that can not be revived for it is written this will pass away. The effort should not be in saving a dieing governing structure… our focus should be placed on doing the WILL OF THY FATHER… a command handed to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20. The only real war taking place is between the saved and unsaved. Will you attack them the way they are attacking you… or will you do what Jesus commanded us to do?
