The greatest measurement of where we are in our Faith Walk is how we respond to adversity. For it is written that the trying of our faith worketh patience. As a Pastor it is my responsibility to ensure my faith walk lines up with my faith talk. So when I talk about faith, I have demonstrated what I believe in before others. What I believe in will be seen by others as I walk it out right before them in my interactions with them. No matter how a person attempts to provoke (unknowingly or knowingly) a situation, my faith should always be what leads me in how I respond to provocation. The grace God has given me to walk it out allows me to walk in His flow... His love.. God is Love,,,for it is written that Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.. Love never fails because God never fails and if we are walking in Him and Jesus be in us... then we will not fail in that love because it is God's love that carries us through. It is a sacrificial love...which rejects how we FEEL and do what is right. The words we use as we talk to others must be laced with God's love... His grace.
