World System Favors Will Cause You Much Discomfort
The church (Body of Believers) should not continue to expect favors from a system that hates what you stand for. The more you depend on the favors of the world system to keep your ministry going, the system will call in on its favors it has gotten you comfortable operating within. The big favor I am speaking of is "Tax Exemption" status.
I heard many are concerned about the American Government removing the 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status of churches if the churches don't comply with its way of doing things. Their concern is people will stop giving (Monetarily) because there won't be a tax write-off incentive for them. Sooooo... if they were giving in the first place to get something back, then their giving was always in vain to begin with. The authentic body of believers will give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's (Mark 12:17) whether that be resources or time to do the work of the Kingdom.
The Church should operate with the same mindset of Mark 12:17. In fact, start operating without favors from the government and there is nothing the government can do to your ministry. Get yourself used to doing it Christ's way even if that means you have to rethink how you do ministry. Remember, God is the source of everything we need. You operate in purpose that falls in His will and He will give you the tools to do the work. So when the time comes and your tax exempt status is being threatened...let them have it. In fact, get your mind wrapped around the fact that you are no longer operating within the system right now... and now you have been set free from the system. Operate as if you are paying taxes and put that money you would have had to pay aside so when the times comes to give to Caesar.. you are already prepared and have adjusted your ministry months or years before to adapt to an oppressive system's threat you saw coming. Act now.
As for the people, we are going to soon know what team people really are on (Team Jesus or Team World). God is the coach of Team Jesus and satan is the coach of Team World. Those who want the incentives of the world will not want to be on Team Jesus. Those who stay on the team after this comes to pass... will be the team you really had pushing things forward to begin with. When the pretenders remove themselves, you will be able to do far more with less.
Let those who have an ear...HEAR! And let those who have sight... SEE what is written and all around them.
