Prayer Not Answered?

Many times our prayers are not being answered because we have not learned the importance of WORSHIPING Jesus first. With worship, we don't ask for anything, but instead we bask in the light of His glory. In Mathew 8:2-4 there was a Leper who needed and desperately wanted healing... but before the healing took place the first thing he did in verse 2 was WORSHIPPED Jesus. Then he said "Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean."

He knew and firmly believed in the power Jesus had... and in that dialogue he understood that Jesus could do it... but he also understood that the power to do or not to do rest with Jesus. In other words, if Jesus chose not to make him clean... it did not mean Jesus could not make him clean. That leper chose to worship Jesus before he even asked Jesus to make Him clean. He WORSHIPPED before anything tangible could be shown. So if Jesus did not make Him clean, the Leper would still worship the one with all power. Worship is about our faith. What do we have faith in for real? The leper was not clean... not healed... and did not demand anything of Jesus. He simply WORSHIPPED Jesus before asking for help. What He did before the ask led to the outcome. The outcome, in verse 3, "And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed."

Those of us looking for a prayer to be answered in that situation, did you worship God before asking for something? Or do you need Jesus to do something in order for you to worship Him? Faith by seeing is not real faith at all. But faith without a need to see, will produce something that is seen... but those who don't have faith to believe without reservation will miss what is displayed right before their eyes. Kingdom Power produced worship even if one's physical circumstance is not changed.
