The beast 666 is already marking people right now
This is how the mark of the beast is taking place (Revelation 13:16-17).
For any individual, the things that are opposite of what God says is so embedded into the individual's DNA that a person can not even see it even when someone points it out. The person will reject correction because his identity is Inextricably linked to imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5-7) that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God (Hosea 4:6-7). When that knowledge is embedded in a person's DNA, it will be very hard for him to accept God's correction because in his mind... having to correct is a blow to his identity. Therefore, He who rejects God's knowledge is cursed and that curse is passed on to his descendants from generation to generation.
The beast wants to embed himself into your DNA. Once that happens, the mark has been successfully applied without the person ever realizing he has taken on the mark of the beast.
