The Word of God Will Always Expose Hidden Motives

Proverbs 4:7 (NLT)

7 Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!
And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.

Don't allow someone's views of anyone or any place become your issues too! Vet it for yourself using the word of God. This is especially true in the body of believers known as the church. Before you rush to take what a person says as truth... ask God to show you the motive... the heart of the person who is speaking whatever is being spoken behind closed doors because you have formed some level of a relationship with that person. You may soon find out that the things that were shared which had you pull back are not based on truth... but based on that person's own personal issues that have now shaped your mind and caused you to pull away. Test what is being said and what you see against the word of God only. Hear Jesus only. That's how you make a good assessment. Not based on someone's words where there may be something hidden that you don't see. Don't miss what God has for you because you believed more into what someone's view of something is rather than what His word is showing you!
